Park Cities Yoga recognizes that our yoga family develops a personal yoga practice within the context of real world living, with real world concerns. We aren't isolated on a mountain top. We all leave the studio and return to our jobs, our homes, our communities and are looking to thrive in those places.
This blog seeks to provide some guidance along the way.
We'll post information about developing your own set of food standards so that grocery shopping and eating out are less of a mystery.
We'll post guidance about how to buy and prepare healthy food on a budget (including specifics about what we buy at which stores and how to save money in doing so).
We'll share our list of pantry and refrigerator staples we keep in our own home that help us prepare healthy meals (and maybe some treats!) in a snap and on a budget.
We'll share recipes our family loves.
Speaking of recipes we love, is there such thing as a healthy sweetener? The answer is more complicated that you would think. We'll post about that coming up.
Donna will share her weekly household routine that helps keep all the systems of the home on track and at peace in hectic times. At least that's the idea, ha.
